The design of space vehicles has several highly complex steps, among them the choice of the appropriate orbit for operation, which involves the determination of the appropriate orbital parameters and directly influences the system's ability to meet or not various requirements. Among the affected requirements, it is possible to highlight the launch cost and the revisit time of an area of interest. To solve this problem, the Borg algorithm, an evolutionary multiobjective optimization method, was applied, identifying the pareto boundary of the problem and the altitude and inclination parameters of the orbit that result in the points of this boundary. |
